Can I cook with extra virgin olive oil?
We recommend using extra virgin olive oil cold. It has a lower smoke point (190C) than other oils, such as ghee (250C) and avocado oil (255C), so we'd suggest choosing a different oil for high-heat cooking like frying or roasting.
Do you use hexanes or solvents to extract your oils?
Not at all. All the oils we use are always free from solvents, hexanes or chemical extraction methods.
