Our Extra Virgin Avocado Oil is cold-pressed from perfectly ripe, hand-picked avocados grown in Spain. Many of the avocados we use would otherwise go to waste in the export market simply due to variations in size, shape, or colour. 🥑

Cold-pressed, extra-virgin avocado oil is the best choice as it helps retain the natural nutrients that can be lost during conventional high-heat extraction methods. The result is a high-quality oil that stays true to the integrity of the fruit.

Our cold-pressed extra-virgin avocado oil is very different from industrially produced vegetable and seed oils. Common refined oils such as rapeseed, canola, and sunflower are typically high in polyunsaturated fats, which can contribute to an imbalanced Omega-3 to Omega-6 ratio in modern diets. Some estimates suggest this imbalance can be as high as 16:1, meaning significantly more Omega-6 than Omega-3.

By reducing the use of heavily refined seed and vegetable oils - such as by switching your everyday cooking oil and being mindful of processed foods and condiments, you can help support a more balanced Omega-3 to Omega-6 intake.
