What is Monk Fruit* and why do you use it as an ingredient?Updated 2 days ago

Monk Fruit is a naturally sweet-tasting fruit derived from the Siraitia grosvenorii plant, native to Southeast Asia that has been trusted for centuries. The sweet compounds in monk fruit, called mogrosides, are metabolised differently to sugar, providing sweetness without calories or raising blood glucose levels.

We've taken a different approach with our flavoured (Mixed Berry and Lemon & Lime) electrolytes. Most monk fruit powders you'll find use maltodextrin as a carrier base, typically from corn or other grains, which is often undeclared on the ingredients list. We've developed a unique grain-free formulation using acacia fibre instead. Acacia fibre is a natural, prebiotic ingredient that fits perfectly with our ethos of natural, grain-free products.
