What is glycine and why do you use it as an ingredient?Updated a year ago
Glycine is an amino acid (which is present naturally in collagen).
It can help support the stimulation of serotonin, supports the removal of toxins from the body and supports nerve signal transmission.
Some also link glycine to help supporting sleep. Glycine is a unique amino acid in that it has a sweet taste, without being a sweetener or a sugar.
We add glycine into our collagen creamers to improve the taste and also provide the benefits of the glycine amino acid.
