Can I have ghee if I am Lactose free?Updated a year ago

When making ghee, the Organic butter is melted and the milk solids sink to the bottom (along with any impurities) which are removed, meaning that ghee is low/free from lactose. This also means that ghee is much lower in carbohydrate (sugars) from the lactose than milk and it makes a great milk alternative in coffee or tea. Some people are able to tolerate ghee due to this if they follow a lactose free lifestyle. We would advise you to avoid ghee if you have an allergy to dairy, however.
