Ghee or beef tallow, which should I use?Updated 22 days ago
Both are traditional animal fats that have been used for centuries, if not millennia, by our ancestors and traditional cultures around the world.
Both fats are excellent in their own right, each with unique properties, and both have a role to play in supporting your health as well as your cooking and culinary adventures.
Tallow and ghee have different taste profiles. Tallow is more neutral and earthy, so it won’t override the flavour of your dish, whereas ghee has a more complex flavour, creamy and buttery with hints of caramel, that brings a rich, deep flavour to dishes.
